Durability & replacement

Our custom made faux leather panels are designed to provide excellent protection and sound absorption for your golf simulator. However, as with any adhesive-mounted product, panels can occasionally become loose over time, particularly when installed on ceilings. This can happen for several reasons, including changes in temperature and humidity, dust or moisture on the mounting surface, deterioration of the paint or plaster underneath, or the adhesive bond gradually weakening over time. Ceiling-mounted panels are particularly susceptible, as gravity places constant pressure on the adhesive. We recommend checking panels periodically to ensure they remain securely attached. If a panel does become loose, it can usually be reattached using a suitable high-strength acoustic foam adhesive, provided both surfaces are clean, dry and in good condition. Any loose ceiling panels should be removed promptly and securely refitted to prevent them from falling. For added peace of mind, mechanical fixings may be appropriate where suitable.

Please note: acoustic foam tiles will split and show a cut line where a golf ball impacts them. They're designed as an affordable protective solution on the understanding that tiles will need replacing periodically.
