Description

The Garmin Approach R50 is a premium portable launch monitor and simulator that brings the course to you — the first portable launch monitor with a built-in golf simulator.

Play virtual rounds with up to three other golfers on any of the more than 43,000 preloaded courses worldwide, with full-colour Course View mapping. A weekly virtual tournament lets golfers compete against players around the world and compare scores on a global leaderboard (subscription required).

Training mode

Analyse swings using detailed descriptions and illustrations of swing metrics, and compare sessions to track progress over time. Stats are tracked for each club, with a shot dispersion chart based on estimated ball flight, helping golfers understand their strengths and areas for improvement.

Garmin Golf app

The Approach R50 works with the free Garmin Golf app, which lets players compete, compare and connect with fellow golfers across more than 43,000 courses worldwide, posting results and comparing data, rankings and stats (subscription required).
