Custom Made to Order
Every GTS Ultra Impact Screen is made to order in Ireland based on the dimensions you provide.
Typical lead time is approximately 2–3 weeks from order.
As each screen is individually manufactured, we will contact you after ordering to confirm your final dimensions before production.
Optional Trim Kit & Angle Irons
An optional trim kit is available to make installation easier and give your simulator screen a professional, finished appearance.
The trim kit includes:
-
Angle iron for fixing to the walls and ceiling
-
Floor eye plates
-
Velcro
-
Bungees/cable ties
-
Padded surround trims to frame the screen and conceal the fixings
Simply order the screen in the width you require and add the trim kit if needed.
Angle irons can be supplied as part of the kit or omitted and sourced locally. For larger installations, sourcing the angle iron locally can significantly reduce shipping costs due to its weight and length.
Measuring Your Screen
IMPORTANT: All screen dimensions must be taken approximately 400mm away from the rear wall or any object behind the impact screen.

Please ensure all measurements supplied are accurate before confirming your order.
If dimensions are provided before the room, simulator structure or surrounding finishes are complete, the customer accepts responsibility for ensuring the final opening matches the measurements supplied. As each screen is custom manufactured, we cannot guarantee fit where the finished dimensions differ from those originally provided.
Please Note – Creasing & Minor Material Imperfections
Due to the manufacturing, machining, folding and transportation process, impact screens may arrive with creases, pressure marks, small indents or slight cosmetic imperfections in the material. These are normal characteristics of this type of commercial impact-screen material and do not affect the screen's durability, impact performance or intended purpose.
The screen is designed first and foremost to withstand repeated golf-ball impacts while also providing a high-quality projection surface. As a specialist technical fabric rather than a decorative or photographic-grade material, very minor variations or cosmetic flaws can occasionally be visible, particularly when viewed up close or with the projector switched off.
Creases and pressure marks will generally reduce naturally once the screen has been installed and tensioned. To speed up the process, we recommend using a handheld clothes steamer. Gentle steaming is a widely used method within the golf simulator industry and can help the material settle considerably faster.
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the performance, durability or intended use of the impact screen should not be considered a product defect.
Durability and expected life span
Our golf simulator impact screens are designed specifically to withstand repeated golf ball impact, but as with any impact screen, their lifespan will depend heavily on the amount and type of use. In a commercial environment, where a simulator may be in use for several hours every day, you can typically expect a screen to last anywhere from 9 –18 months, depending on usage. In a home simulator, where usage is considerably lower, a screen would generally be expected to last 2–3 years or more with proper care.
The most common cause of wear or eventually a hole developing in an impact screen is simply repeated impact in the same area over time. This is particularly noticeable in busy commercial facilities, as most players are hitting towards a relatively small central area of the screen. Higher ball speeds – for example, golfers repeatedly hitting hard drives – will naturally accelerate this wear.
The condition of the golf balls is also very important.Scuffed, scratched or marked golf balls should never be used, as their rough surface can act almost like sandpaper against the screen at high speed. Dirty golf balls, damaged club faces and balls with permanent-marker lines or other abrasive markings can also contribute to premature wear.
Regularly checking golf balls, keeping the screen clean and correctly tensioned, and ensuring the screen has sufficient space behind it to absorb the impact will all help maximise its lifespan. Ultimately, an impact screen is a wear-and-tear component, particularly in a commercial simulator, and will require replacement periodically depending on the level of use.
