Square Golf Indoor launch monitor

Through its high speed 3D Camera, Square Golf delivers detailed feedback on 18 different ball and club data points Please note: This is an indoor only launch monitor, it cannot be used in the garden or at the driving range. 

The setup is easy and simple. The battery life is good also and you'll get approximately 8 hours use from a full charged unit. And its compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows via Bluetooth connectivity meaning that you can connect it to a PC, Laptop, a compatible IPAD, IPHONE and Android device making it adaptable and more affordable than most other launch monitors. 

Data

Square golf allows you to track 18 different data points to improve all aspects of your game from putting to driving, wedging to pitching. They are:

Ball Data

• Ball Speed: The speed of the ball immediately after impact.
• Launch Angle: The vertical angle the ball takes off at.
• Launch Direction: The horizontal angle (left or right) of the ball's initial flight.
• Spin Rate (Backspin & Sidespin): How much the ball is spinning, which dictates your lift and shot curvature.
• Apex: The highest point of the ball's flight.
• Carry Distance: How far the ball travels in the air.
• Run: How much the ball rolls after landing.
• Total Distance: The sum of your carry and run.
• Smash Factor: A calculation of energy transfer

Club Data

Note: To read club data, you'll need to apply the included reflective stickers to your club shafts and clubface.

• Club Path: The direction the club head is moving at impact (in-to-out or out-to-in).
• Face Angle: The direction your clubface is pointing at impact (open or closed relative to the target).
  
• Dynamic Loft: The loft of the clubface at the exact moment of impact.
  
• Angle of Attack: Whether you are striking down (negative) or hitting up (positive) on the ball.
  
• Impact Location: Exactly where on the clubface you struck the ball.

Square golf is manufactured by the same company as EXPUTT so you'll benefit also from their expertise in this area. The unit tracks:

No annual subs!

Most launch monitors come with access to a basic amount of features, users are required to purchase a monthly subscription in order to unlock more features. Most subscriptions are approximately €250 per year up to €800 for Trackman. Square Golf are currently the only brand that has no subscription model. Instead Square Golf operates on a pay as you play model, the idea being that you purchase credits and then use these to access more features and courses. The unit comes with enough credits to play 55 rounds of golf before having to purchase extra credits.

Optional Additional Software

If you want to add to your library and play real golf courses such as St Andrews, Pebble Beach, etc. you'll need to run third-party simulator software such as:

• E6 Connect
• GSPro (Golf Simulator Pro)
• Awesome Golf

These subscriptions will give you a large library of additional real golf courses. However they are an additional cost and in some cases require a PC capable of running them.

Setting up your device

PLEASE NOTE: Square Golf is for indoor use only, keep out of direct sunlight.

To set up your Square Golf Launch Monitor, place it on flat ground at the same height as the golf ball. Ensure the monitor is in a room with little to no sunlight, as direct sunlight can affect its performance. The front of the launch monitor should not directly face sunlight. The device captures ball and club data using high-speed cameras and built-in infrared LED lighting.

2 Year limited warranty

Square Golf offers a 2-year warranty for the Square Golf device only covering defects in material or workmanship. This excludes damage from misuse, modifications, accidents, or natural events. During the warranty period, Square Golf will repair or replace the product with a new or refurbished unit. For issues with the unit please contact the manufacturers directly.
